Content-warning descriptions of abuse Yuma Sector CBP agent Ramon Marquez, 31, was arrested in May 2025 and has been charged with 15 felonies including 14 counts of sexual conduct with a 16-year-old between Dec 2024 and Apr 2025.

Tucson Sector Border Patrol agent Bart Conrad Yager, 39, was indicted in Jul 2025 on 24 felony charges, including 10 counts of child sex trafficking, five drug-related felonies, and two counts of fraud. He was investigated for a now-closed Tucson rape case ten years ago, but CBP never investigated

Arizona CBP port officer Aaron Thomas Mitchell, 30, was sentenced to 27 years in prison in March 2025, after being convicted on federal charges of abducting and sexually assaulting a 15-year-old Douglas middle school student in 2022. Mitchell now faces state charges in Cochise County.

Tucson Sector CBP agent Efren Lopez Cornejo was sentenced in Jan 2025 to lifetime parole with NO JAIL TIME after being charged with 14 felonies, including child molestation, sexual abuse of a minor and sexual conduct with a minor. The two victims were family members. One was 9 when the abuse started

Tony L. Barker, a top official with CBP, resigned in 2023 after being accused by multiple female employees of sexual harassment. Barker, who was the acting Chief of CBP's Operations Directorate, allegedly pressured female employees for sex and retaliated when his advances were rejected.

ICE deportation officer Blake Northway of Oregon was sentenced to 25 years in prison on sodomy and incest charges for sexually abusing an underage female relative for more than nine years, between March 2009 and September 2018.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer Luis Uribe was indicted in Dec 2025 on 11 counts. He committed multiple “gunpoint sexual assaults” and robberies of women in the Chicago area, who offered him money and referenced their children as they begged him to stop. Uribe preyed on sex workers.

Border Patrol Agent Andrew Smithson of San Diego was arrested in 2016 after sexually assaulting Brawley Police Det. Kali Orff. Orff woke up to find Smithson had pulled her pants down and was sexually assaulting her. She punched him in the face and called 911. Smithson was protected by local police.

Customs and Border Protection officer Scott James Rocky, 57, of Center Line, MI was charged in Feb 2025 with possession of thousands of child sexual abuse images and videos. FBI agents raided his home and found an external hard drive containing the videos, an FBI special agent wrote in an affidavit

U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent Harry Marvelle Peless III, 51, of Newport, MI, was arrested in Jul 2025 after messaging an undercover agent posing as a 13-year-old girl. Marvelle sent obscene material to and made requests for sexual activity to the person he believed was an underage girl.

US Border Patrol agent Steven Charles Holmes, 33, of Arizona was convicted in 2023 of 11 felonies after strangling and raping several women.

US Border Patrol agent Roy Ramirez Jr., 32, of Harlingen, TX, was arrested in 2020 by McAllen Police and charged with sexual assault for forcing one of his subordinates at work to perform oral sex on him.

John Daly III, a Border Patrol Agent from Arizona, a/k/a the East Valley Serial Rapist, was charged in 2021 with at least seven rapes across multiple Phoenix suburbs from 1999 to 2001. Authorities seized 279 guns from Daly’s house when they arrested him. The true number of victims is still unknown.

Dana Ray Thornhill, a Border Patrol Agent from Arizona, was sentenced in 2020 to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to repeatedly molesting multiple children between 1995 to 2007. Thornill, a 20-year veteran of CBP, was first arrested at age 13 for sexually assaulting a younger girl.

Jeremy Tyler Cole, a Border Patrol Agent from Arizona, was sentenced in 2015 for molesting three girls ages five, 12 and 14.

Spencer Allen Cox, 24, a Border Patrol agent from Uvalde, TX, was arrested in 2020 for soliciting a minor for sex and sending obscene materials to her via Snapchat. He was wearing his CBP uniform when he solicited the underaged victim, who had already told him her age.

Vernon Lee Millican, a Border Patrol agent from Leakey, TX, was sentenced in 2020 to 50 years in prison after being convicted of sexually abusing a female relative and filming it. The abuse started when the victim was only six years old.

Michael William Barends, 43, a Border Patrol supervisor from Alpine, TX, was arrested in 2020 for continuous sexual assault of a child. The abuse began in 2015 when the victim was 13 years old.

Jason Christopher Davis, 48, a Border Patrol supervisor from Las Cruces, New Mexico, was sentenced in 2021 to 15 years in prison for producing a child sexual abuse video of a five-year-old girl and then uploading it.

Alexander Steven Back, an ICE employee from Bloomington, MN was arrested in Nov 2025 for coercion of a minor. He attempted to meet up with what he thought was a 17-year-old girl for sex and was immediately arrested. He now faces federal charges.

Salvador Contreras, 50, a senior Border Patrol agent from Del Rio, TX, was arrested in a 2017 sting after traveling to meet who he believed to be the mother of two young girls. He believed he had been chatting with a mother who would give him access to her girls, ages 8 and 14, to have sex with them

Kyle Elden Mrofka, 30, a supervisory Border Patrol Agent from Arizona, was sentenced in 2019 to three years probation with no jail time for repeatedly sexually assaulting the 13-year-old daughter of a family friend after plying her with alcohol. The victim's family did not support the plea deal.

John Jacob Olivas, 48, an ICE agent from Riverside, CA, was sentenced in 2023 to a life sentence for rape and “systematic torture of women”. He repeatedly brandished his ICE credentials to assert to his victims that he was "above a cop" and "invincible" and threatened to have their children removed.

Andrew Golobic, 53, an ICE supervisor from Cincinnati, OH, was sentenced in March 2025 to 12 years in prison for sexually abusing and coercing female victims under his supervision in the Blue Ash ICE office's "alternatives to detention" program.

Samuel Saxon, 47, the Assistant Field Office Director of ICE ERO in Cincinnati, was charged in Dec 2025 with strangulation and domestic violence. His partner also suffered a broken pelvis and broken nose. What's left out of most stories is that she was 18 years old when they started dating in 2018.

Koby Don Williams, 49, an ICE officer from Ellensburg, WA was sentenced in 2024 to 11 years in prison after arranging to meet what he thought was a 13-year-old sex worker at a hotel. He showed up with Viagra, $4,000 in cash, and his ICE badge. He was immediately arrested.

Kevin Taylor, an ICE agent from Riley, MI, was sentenced in 2023 to 5-15 years in prison for molesting two underage female relatives who were between the ages of 4 and 9 when his abuse began.

Juan Lopez, 48, an ICE agent from Combes, TX, was arrested in 2023 for sexually assaulting a minor over a period of several months.

Timothy Ryan Gregg, 51, an ICE / HSI agent from Eagan, MN, was arrested in June 2025 for enticing a minor and production of child sexual abuse material. Gregg is a supporter of Donald Trump and his archived Parler profile is still online at web.archive.org

Rodolfo Zuniga, a Border Patrol Agent from San Diego, CA, was sentenced in 2013 for possession of child sexual abuse material and theft of government property. Zuniga was arrested again in 2018 after moving to Laredo, TX and failing to register as a sex offender as required by law.

Ernesto Padron, a Border Patrol Agent from Brownsville, TX, was arrested in 2010 for possession of CSAM. A case backlog meant the statute of limitations expired before he could be tried. In 2020 Padron was hired at a Texas migrant shelter where he worked directly with unaccompanied migrant children

In May 2024, Nereo Mejia Gomez, 41, a Border Patrol Agent from Yuma, AZ, was indicted on multiple counts of producing, possessing, and distributing child sexual abuse material. He was also indicted for possession of an unregistered short-barreled rifle. Gomez faces up to 100 years in prison.

Anthony John Crowley, 52, a Customs and Border Protection officer from Minnetonka, MN, was arrested in June 2025 for possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material depicting a minor under the age of 12. Crowley was sentenced YESTERDAY (Jan 29th, 2026) to 71 months in prison.

Keith E. Hook, 55, a Border Patrol Agent from Oswego, New York, was sentenced on Jan 22, 2020 to 80 months in prison for distributing, receiving and possessing dozens of child sexual abuse photos while on duty at the Oswego Port of Entry.

Jason Michael Drown, 40, a Border Patrol Agent from Gilbert, AZ, was arrested on Apr 8, 2025 and charged with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor after a months-long investigation revealed he downloaded and shared child sexual abuse material featuring a child under the age of 10.

Paul Casey Whipple, 41, a Border Patrol Agent from Hondo, TX, was sentenced on Oct 24, 2024 to 50 years in prison on charges of producing and distributing hundreds of photos and videos depicting the sexual abuse of a prepubescent girl.

Jarett Javier Jung, 28, a Border Patrol Agent from El Centro, CA, was sentenced on Nov 10, 2010 to six years in prison for possessing over 600 images of child sexual abuse material, some depicting "horrific acts" of abuse.

Edwin Torres-Feliu, 49, of Woodbridge, VA, Director of Administration for Laboratory Systems for Customs and Border Protection, was sentenced on Sep 17, 2010 to six years in prison for possessing a "very large cache" of child sexual abuse material. Torres-Feliu now lives in Ponce, Puerto Rico.

Darren Michael Henry, 34, of Bottineau, ND, a Customs and Border Protection Officer at the Dunseith Port of Entry, was sentenced on Nov 23, 2009 to 180 months in prison for sexual exploitation of a minor and possession of child sexual abuse material.

Joseph Taunton, 44, a Corrections Officer at the LaSalle Federal Detention Facility (operated by GEO Group), was sentenced on Jul 29, 2011 to only 10 months in prison for sexual abuse after entering the cell of a victim who was awaiting deportation to Mexico and forcing them to perform a sex act.

Eric Douglas Higgins, 31, a Customs and Border Patrol Officer stationed at the Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron, Michigan, was sentenced in Sep 2010 to twenty months in prison for possession of child sexual abuse material.

Paul Douglas Adams, a Border Patrol mission specialist from Bisbee, AZ who worked at the Naco Border Patrol station, was arrested in Feb 2017 after an international investigation identified him raping his daughters in videos he shared online. Adams died by suicide in his cell in 2017 before trial.

Abel Michael Quiroz, 27, a Border Patrol Agent from Las Cruces, NM, was sentenced on April 21, 2015 to 30 months in prison for possession of child sexual abuse material after a tip that Quiroz was exchanging inappropriate messages with a 15-year-old girl.

Armando Gonzalez, 45, a Border Patrol supervisor from San Diego, was sentenced on Dec 15, 2015 to 21 months in prison after admitting to placing a hidden camera in a floor drain of the women’s restroom at the Chula Vista Border Patrol Station to film naked women then lying about it to investigators.

Derek James Dominguez, 37, a Border Patrol agent from Mercedes, TX, was arrested on Aug 28, 2025 and charged with child sexual abuse following a months-long investigation. Dominguez was released on bond shortly after his arrest and his trial appears to be pending.

David Villarreal, 36, a Border Patrol agent from Laredo, TX, was sentenced on Oct 27, 2021 to two years in prison after admitting to sexual assault and tampering with evidence after forcing an undocumented woman to have sex with him and threatening to deport her if she refused.

Robert A. Carle, 49, a Supervisory Customs and Border Protection officer from Staten Island, NY was convicted on Oct 15, 2013 of attempted sexual abuse of a child after meeting what he thought would be a 14-year-old girl for sex after chatting online. He was sentenced to only 60 days in jail.

Luis Edward Hermosillo, 45, a Border Patrol Agent from Riverside, CA, was sentenced on Oct 23, 2012 to eight years in prison after stopping a woman at a Riverside County border checkpoint, ordering her to drive to a remote location and then sexually assaulting her in front of her two young children.

In 2014, Esteban Manzanares, 32, a Border Patrol Agent from Mission, TX kidnapped and raped a mother, her 14-year-old daughter, and a second teen who had crossed the border. He slit the mother's wrists, tried to break the daughter's neck, and left them for dead. He shot himself when police arrived.

Jose Neri Jalomos, 52, a Border Patrol Agent at the Hebbronville, TX station, pleaded no contest in October 2014 to molesting a 14-year-old girl. Jalomos also married a 16-year-old girl in 1996 while serving as a Border Patrol agent.

Edmundo Palacios, 56, a senior Customs and Border Protection Officer from Laredo, TX, was arrested in April 2013 for inappropriately touching a 12-year-old girl. Palacios pleaded guilty to indecency with a child / sexual contact on July 17, 2014 and was sentenced to 16 years in state prison.

Miguel Lerma, Jr., 33, a Customs and Border Protection officer from Fountain Valley, CA, pleaded guilty on Jan 9, 2013 to forcible rape of one victim and rape of another victim who was intoxicated. He was sentenced to six years in prison.

Patrick Andrew Hamburg, 46, a Customs and Border Protection officer from International Falls, MN, was sentenced on Aug 16, 2011 to 7 and a half years in prison for sexually assaulting a preteen girl over a period of several years. Hamburg moved to Montana after his release from prison.

Alejandro Covarrubias Dominguez, 34, a Border Patrol Agent from Tucson, AZ, was sentenced on April 17, 2015 to three years in California state prison after being arrested on seven counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, possession of child sexual abuse material, and lewd acts with a minor.

Gilbert G. Lam, 39, a Customs and Border Protection Agent who worked at San Francisco airport, was sentenced on Jan 14, 2015 to just over a year in jail for possession of child sexual abuse videos. Prosecutors described his electronic setup as "elaborate" with a "whole closet" full of computers.

Jason Edward Gamboa, 29, a Border Patrol Agent from Olmito, TX, was arrested in May 2012 on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a 9-year-old girl. He pleaded no contest in November 2012 and was placed under community supervision for three years. He later failed to have his charges expunged.

Isreal Gutierrez Jr., 28, a Border Patrol Agent from Brownsville, TX, was arrested on July 13, 2013 on three counts of sexual assault of a child and accused by prosecutors of sexually assaulting a second child. He was convicted on July 27, 2015 on four counts. [his legal name is spelled "Isreal"]

Anthony Mangione, 51, the head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in South Florida, was convicted on July 20, 2012 for transporting child sexual abuse material. He was sentenced to 70 months in prison and must register as a sex offender for life.

Austin police have issued an arrest warrant for a Fort Worth-based U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent accused of sexually assaulting an Austin woman last year. The warrant, issued Jan. 29, 2026, charges Melvin Davis with second-degree felony sexual assault.

Fernando Saucedo III, a CBP officer from Presidio, TX, was named in two lawsuits filed in 2017 by the ACLU on behalf of two teenage sisters, ages 17 and 19, who alleged Saucedo removed them from their cell to a closet area where he sexually assaulted them. CBP settled the lawsuit for $125,000.

Dennis Michael Johnson, now 59, a Border Patrol Agent from Sierra Vista, AZ, was sentenced in April 2002 to seven years in prison after he kidnapped, handcuffed, threatened and raped a 21-year-old woman from El Salvador who had been detained crossing the border near Tombstone, AZ on Sep. 28, 2000.

Jay Bernard Gillilland, a Customs and Border Protection agent from Nogales, AZ, was sentenced in 2007 to 6,242 years in state prison after being convicted on nearly 300 charges of child sexual abuse. He also received a 10-year federal sentence for cocaine trafficking and CSAM possession.

Brian Michael Dick, 36, a Border Patrol agent from Benson, AZ, was sentenced in January 2010 to just over five years in prison after being convicted of raping a fellow agent. At Dick's sentencing, his victim spoke about how his friends in the department made threatening and harassing calls to her.

Lawson Hardrick, Jr., 64, of Calexico, CA, a supervisory special agent with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, was sentenced in April 2013 to 10 years in federal prison for downloading and sharing child sexual abuse material. Hardrick was the assistant director of the Calexico port of entry.

Nicholas Ryan Bolden, 40, a Border Patrol agent from Ocean Springs, MS, was sentenced on July 31, 2013 to six and a half years in federal prison for accessing child sexual abuse materials from a government computer.

On Jan 6, 2014, Michael J. McGowan, a former Federal Air Marshal and Border Patrol Agent, was sentenced to 90 years’ in prison for three counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children. McGowan repeatedly sexually abused three boys over the course of multiple years and photographed the abuse.

Tony Alan Barker, 59, a retired U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer from Sahuarita, AZ, was sentenced in August 2010 to six years in federal prison for possessing hundreds of child sexual abuse images.

Joseph W. Giuliano, 55, of Bellingham, WA, the Deputy Chief Patrol Agent for Border Patrol's Blaine Sector, was sentenced in June 2009 to 4 years for raping a 14-year-old child multiple times. Giuliano, as second in command, was once described as "the face of the Border Patrol in the Northwest".

Daniel Alfredo Spear, 46, a Border Patrol agent from El Cajon, CA, was sentenced in January 2017 to two years in prison after being convicted of giving his daughter's teenage friend cocaine, then performing sex acts on the minor and taking photos of her in lingerie.

Orlando Gomez, 43, a Border Patrol Agent from Las Cruces, NM, was sentenced in June 2017 to 29 months in prison for multiple counts of child sexual abuse. Court documents state that Gomez coerced the 15-year-old girl into having sex with him by threatening to kill himself if she didn't.

Alfredo Maysonet-Galarza, 57 a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agent from Toa Alta, Puerto Rico, was sentenced in August 2019 to 108 months in prison for distributing and possessing child sexual abuse material.

Andrew John Pleviak, an ICE deportation officer from Wichita, KS, was charged with federal cyber crimes in Jan 2018 after a local news anchor was forced to seek legal protection when Pleviak, who volunteered to be a confidential law enforcement source, began stalking her and sending sexual messages.

Daniel E. Perez, 33, a Customs & Border Protection (CBP) officer from Rio Rico, AZ, was arrested on multiple charges including luring a minor for sexual exploitation after communicating with an undercover officer who he believed to be an underage girl and arranging to meet her for sex.

Frank Figueroa, 49, the ICE Special Agent in Charge in Central Florida, pleaded no contest in 2006 to indecent exposure after exposing his genitals and masturbating while staring at a 16-year-old girl in an Orlando mall food court. Figueroa avoided a formal conviction and retired with full pension.

Joshua Jivan, 42, a Supervisory Special Agent with ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) from Las Vegas, NV, was arrested on June 2, 2023 for luring a child for sexual acts. Jivan was busted as part of a law enforcement sting, believing he was meeting a 14-year-old girl in a hotel for sex.

Paulo Morales, 47, a Customs and Border Protection Officer from Miami, FL, was sentenced in October 2012 to 33 months in prison after pleading guilty to groping 3 women who were in CBP custody at Miami International Airport, where he worked.

Suzanne Barr, Chief of Staff for ICE, resigned in September 2012 after she was accused by three different ICE employees of inappropriate sexual behavior. Barr disputed the allegations, but resigned (according to her letter) to spare the agency from distraction.

Ruben Ricardo Rosado-Milan, 49, an ICE deportation officer from Fort Myers, FL, was sentenced in January 2022 to 31 days in jail and registration as a sex offender after pleading guilty to exposing himself to several high school students at Riverdale High School and masturbating.

David Arthur Redecki, 37, a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer and Boy Scout troop leader from Livonia, MI was sentenced in August 2017 to one year in prison for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy.

Edgar Fidel Garcia, 36, a Border Patrol agent from Laredo, TX, was charged on January 4th, 2024 with sexual assault, a second degree felony. Garcia is accused of sexually assaulting an incapacitated woman at an after-party at his house, causing her to flee and immediately tell her friends.

Steven Joseph Metz, 41, a Customs and Border Protection supervisor from Hamburg, NY, was sentenced in January 2014 to five years in prison after admitting to possessing over 3,000 images and 70 videos of child sexual abuse material, some featuring children as young as 3 years old.

Arnaldo Echevarria, 40, an ICE Deportation Officer from Somerset, NJ, was sentenced in Oct 2017 to 84 months in prison for shaking down undocumented refugees for bribes in the form of cash and sexual favors. He preyed on vulnerable women and demanded sex in return for falsifying immigration records.

Michael Banks, the Chief of US Border Patrol who was appointed by Donald Trump in January 2025, has been credibly accused by multiple Border Patrol insiders of bragging about his frequent "sex tourism" travels to countries like Thailand and Colombia, preying on impoverished, vulnerable sex workers.

Michael John Hogan, 46, a Border Patrol agent from Laredo Texas, was arrested on April 10th, 2026 by Laredo Police on charges of indecent assault. Indecent assault (TX PC Code §22.012) is defined as non-consensual sexual touching or exposure, such as groping or exposing intimate body parts.

Malik Daley, 39, a Border Patrol agent from Barton, VT, was arrested on May 22nd, 2026 by Vermont State Police on charges of repeated sexual assault of a minor under the age of 16. Daley is expected to appear at the Orleans Court in Newport, VT on June 2nd at 9am to answer the initial charges.
