Meanwhile Stephen Miller is furiously subtweeting Musk on X

The same article that reported the throuple rumor ALSO reported that the Millers had gotten close to Musk in order to run him like an asset, with Katie Miller joining DOGE to keep a closer eye on Elon. And Stephen went around DC saying he was running Musk using his wife as Elon's handler

So anyway Musk is publicly dragging Trump on tariffs and his Big Beautiful Bill, while withholding a cool hundred million in pledged political slush fund donations. Oh, and he's tantruming out of DC, and Miller's wife has decided to leave the Trump admin and go with him.

All of this would be funny in and of itself, but the (published!) DC rumor mill also has Stephen and Katie Miller in a torrid polycule situation together, so now it very much looks like Stephen tried to use his wife to honeypot Musk into compliance, but managed to lose his wife to Musk instead.

And Stephen appears to be attempting to post through it. By subtweeting Musk on Musk's own platform.

DOGE cuts are to discretionary spending. (Eg the federal bureaucracy). Under senate budget rules, you cannot cut discretionary spending (only mandatory) in a reconciliation bill.

So DOGE cuts would have to be done through what is known as a rescissions package or an appropriations bill.

The Big Beautiful Bill is NOT an annual budget bill and does not fund the departments of government. It does not finance our agencies or federal programs. Instead, it includes the single largest welfare reform in American history. Along with the largest tax cut and reform in American history. The most aggressive energy exploration in American history. And the strongest border bill in American history. All while reducing the deficit.

As many have pointed out in my mentions, perhaps the funniest thing about all this is that Stephen Miller's wife appears to have left him for an immigrant
