Holocaust Inversion flips reality. Israel is painted as the “new Nazis” and Palestinians as the “new Jews.” Jews are accused of “failing to learn the moral lessons” of the Holocaust. In 2013, British MP David Ward used Holocaust Memorial Day to equate Israel with Nazi Germany. That’s not just false, it is morally rotten. Comparing IDF checkpoints to the ghettos, camps, and extermination of Jews insults history and truth. There is no historical or moral equivalence. This lie is now common in antisemitic propaganda: “Holocaust in Gaza” headlines, Stars of David morphing into swastikas, Israeli politicians morphed into Hitler. Historians like Deborah Lipstadt call it “soft-core denial” because it inflates any Israeli wrongdoing by a factor of a zillion and waters down Nazi crimes the same way.
