🐾 A Cornwall-born Carpathian lynx kitten embarked on the next stage of her rewilding journey. She’s being transferred to Zoo Karlsruhe in Germany, where she will undergo specialised training in hunting and survival skills. If all goes well she’ll be released in autumn. 🧵2/7
🌳 Over 6000 of you supported our campaign and sent messages to the UK Government to let them know we need a bigger, bolder and wilder vision to restore nature in their Land Use Framework for England. Thank you to everyone who added their name. 🧵3/7
🔬Europe’s first Atlantic temperate rainforest research center was announced and it’s set to be built at Rewilding Network site Cabilla Cornwall beside an ancient woodland. It will enable students and academics to research this important but previously overlooked habitat. 🧵4/7

✍️ @wildjustice.bsky.social’s petition calling on the UK Government to a ban driven grouse shooting reached 100,000 signatures which means that the issue will now be discussed in parliament. 🧵6/7
