"They include two leading figures from Eton college: Tom Arbuthnott, who is the elite school’s deputy head (partnerships), and Luke Martin, a theology master at the school." Hmm, the populist right are fighting the elite? I don't think so, they are the elite. theguardian.com 1/🧵

Eton figures to join populist politicians and wealthy backers at ‘anti-woke Davos’

www.theguardian.com

Just how much evidence do you need to prove that the anti-woke, modern populist right, are a fake grassroots movement, funded and enabled by the super rich, to fool people oppressed by the elite, into thinking they're fighting the elite? 2/ People have rightly seen, how the neoliberal centre and fake left, have sold out to the oligarchs and big corporations. So when conmen politicians like Trump and Farage, come along claiming to want to fight the elite, they were fooled into thinking, they were on their side. 3/ But the neoliberal centre and fake left, and the populist right, work for the same paymasters, big money and big corporations. When the very rich, needed cheap labour, they were secretly all in favour of immigration as they employed most migrant labour. 4/ Now the big money billionaires and corporations, are financing AI, where human workers are no longer needed, they want to get rid of migrants, and turn the public against progressive politics, as people are going to be pretty pissed when AI puts them out of a job, and welfare has been slashed. 5/ So the big money oligarchs, don't want progressive politicians and parties, that people will turn to, when AI and the climate and ecological crisis, and destroys the lives of the masses. So they want to use scorched Earth neo-fascism to destroy the opposition, before the shit hits the fan. 6/ The biggest laugh, is the same people will be flying in their private jets, to this fake anti-Davos event, as attended the actual Davos. The idea that those attending Davos were all woke lefties is just preposterous. Woke lefties with private jets, what an oxymoron. 7/ I know a lot of those steeped in academic analysis, and the gurus of the left, don't like my crude characterisation of the situation, but it really is that simple. Big money tries to control the narrative, and this means playing both sides of the fence, hedging their bets as to what works. 8/ Once again, both the neoliberal centre and fake left, represented in the UK by Blair, Mandelson and Starmer et al, the Clintons, Biden et al in the US, work for the same sponsors of Trump and Farage. They are both strongly opposed to wealth taxes. Now, why would that be? 9/
