Today, one of the teachers at the school where I do ICE patrol told me that with the walking bus (teachers pick up kids from immigrant families living at a nearby shelter & walk them to school), attendance for those kids is back up to 100% after dropping to ~50%. Pay teachers one million dollars.

DIRECT ACTION: Annoy ICE. It may seem silly, but it isn't. Xenophobia requires morale, and energy. If they don't sleep, they're constantly surrounded by whistles and cameras in their face, & being called a b*^ch, they'll dread coming in to work. Good.

Yesterday, when Bovino announced ICE would be returning to Little Village today, some of us donated and fundraised to buy out street vendors in the neighborhood. This morning, volunteers hit the streets at 6:30 am, looking for vendors to buy out. Tamales make an excellent breakfast.
