Imagine being the author of the worst take on AI yet published by Nature.

Thought leaders are often full of shit. Self-described "thought leaders" are invariably so. I hope the AI is ashamed of itself.
This is also quite embarrassing for Nature, given that their author policy requires "Declare AI use transparently. If an AI tool helped generate text, data analysis, or content, acknowledge it in the Introduction, Preface, or Acknowledgements." Why did this guy get a pass instead of a hard reject?
While we're at it, Dean Fielding might wish to read his institution's own position statement on AI use, or at least get ChatGPT to summarize it for him.
