To those implying that Kremlin-controlled social media bot/troll farms became silent after Ukraine hit a Yandex data center, posting this CloudFare chart ( radar.cloudflare.com ): Hate to disappoint you all ⤵️
1️⃣ the CloudFare chart has nothing to do with social media. CloudFare measures automated requests to web sites (of any kind, among which social media share is negligible) cloudflare.com
2️⃣ the original chart is specifically about Yandex-controlled network, not about Russia-originating traffic overall ipinfo.io
3️⃣ as you can see in Russia-totals chart, volume of bot traffic this week (as measured by CloudFare) is largely the same as any other week. radar.cloudflare.com
4️⃣ Yandex is a search engine (among many other things). Which, by design, has crawlers (automatic robots) that browse web sites to index the Internet—which is how it later searches the web on your behalf. Which crawler activity is (very likely) exactly what CloudFare detects as (ro)bot traffic.
